Nobody likes feeling discomfort, we can all agree on that, and sedation dentistry removes any pain during treatment. With multiple options available, the pain relief ranges from preventing mild sensitivity during a cleaning to preventing any pain during an extraction or root canal.

End Dental Anxiety
Before treatment, Dr. Satterlee determines if you’re a candidate for sedation and recommends the best option.
At the consultation, we’ll let you know exactly what to expect and if you should plan to have someone else drive you home. Based on your unique needs, you’ll receive a sedative orally, nasally, or intravenously. The levels of sedation vary, and we’ll choose the option that’s right for you.
Depending on the type of sedation used, you’ll be awake during the treatment but in a deep state of relaxation. If you do fall asleep, our dentist will easily wake you up.
